Our story begins high in Gilgit-Baltistan , a remote mountainous region in northern Pakistan, where the three mighty mountain ranges of the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush meet. This landscape is characterized by snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and crystal-clear mountain rivers—one of the most pristine regions in the world.
At altitudes of up to 5,000 meters, a rare, dark natural resin substance forms in the crevices of these mountains, a substance that has been known for centuries. Its formation process is lengthy and unique: Over decades, organic materials and minerals are deposited in the rock layers under the influence of pressure, temperature, and time until they form what we know today as shilajit.
Extraction is carried out exclusively by experienced collectors who often pass on knowledge of the localities and sustainable harvesting methods from generation to generation. The paths to these sites are arduous and often only accessible on foot. Every extraction requires respect for nature, patience, and great care to avoid disturbing the fragile deposits.
After collection, the raw resin is purified using a traditionally inspired yet modern process. Multi-stage filtration removes unwanted foreign particles without altering the original composition. The goal is to preserve the resin as naturally as possible.
Only after independent laboratory analyses confirm its purity and composition does our Shilajit begin its long journey from the high mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan to Switzerland. There, it is carefully packaged and prepared for shipment to our customers.
The result is a product that not only has a geographical journey behind it, but also tells a story of tradition, craftsmanship, origin, and responsibility – from the mountains of Pakistan directly to your home.
